89er 5K

The 89er 5K is hosted by the cadets in the '89er Battalion, Guthrie High School JROTC. The Guthrie JROTC program is the first JROTC program in the State of Oklahoma, dating back to 1935. As a 5K, we encourage competitive runners, recreational runners, and walkers; walk your dog, push a stroller, or simply enjoy the fellowship of your friends and neighbors. This is a community fundraising event for the students, and the proceeds will support educational and leadership training opportunities for the students in JROTC. A portion of the proceeds will support Veteran organizations and charities.
