Veterans Day Program and Open House

The Sandy Valley Board of Education, administration, staff, and students would like to invite you to our annual Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 8, 2024. Please join us from 9 – 11 a.m. in the high school gymnasium with the program beginning at 9:30 a.m.

This year's Veterans Day Program assembly will begin at 9:30 and will last approximately 30 minutes. The assembly includes a welcome message, music from the Sandy Valley Jazz Band and choirs, a tribute video, student-recited poems, and speeches from various students and staff members. This year, there is a special presentation of Quilts of Valor. Four veterans will be honored with a quilt to represent their service.

Following the program, there will be light refreshments for you and your family to enjoy. Our students are excited to meet and serve you, and we hope it will be a time of recognition and remembrance. This is open to the public!
