Join us for a Rhythms concert featuring Don Dixon! The Massillon Museum is proud to welcome Dixon back for his third Rhythms Concert Series performance. Dixon, a North Carolina native and Canton resident, has had a long and wide-ranging career in music. He has released ten solo albums to date, and produced albums by REM, Smithereens, Marti Jones, Gin Blossoms and many others. Dixon's songs have been recorded by Joe Cocker, Hootie & the Blowfish, Counting Crows, and Ronnie Spector. He is the touring bass player for Mary Chapin Carpenter. For this show, Dixon will intersperse stories from his life and career with favorite original songs, and Marti Jones will join him for a concert-closing set.
Tickets are general admission and can be purchased online, in person, or at the door while supplies last. Cash bar and concessions are available. Doors open at 6:30pm and galleries will remain open through intermission. ASL interpretation is provided.
