Holidazzle Illuminated Parade

There’s magic in holiday lights, and its magic that the Hometown Holidazzle Parade and Festival holds annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, in historic downtown Wilmington.

Thousands of people gather to be delighted by thousands of lights, hundreds of entertainers, and over 100 entries in the illuminated parade.  Every parade entry will be lit up for the holidays, so expect to be wowed, as creativity is the name of the game.

Music will play a big part in the festivities. Entertainment for the day includes an array of acts on the main stage on Main Street. Come early to get a good seat and enjoy this Holiday spectacle.

Street vendors will serve delicious food and specialty shopping will be plentiful in downtown venues.  And what kind of festival would it be without clowns for the kids and lots of activities for the children?

The day’s featured celebrity will be Santa Claus, who will arrive in grand style aboard one of the illuminated floats.  Photo ops with Santa will also be available.
