Greater Alliance Carnation Festival
Various Venues in Alliance
Honoring Alliance as the Carnation City, the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival is a festival full of parades, food and fun throughout the community. Throughout the festival week(s), there are more than 30 fun-filled events. There is truly an event for everyone!
Schedule:
10:00 am - 4:00 pm - Beech Creek Botanical Garden
Beech Creek Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve will be offering an exhibit on Levi Lamborn and information on the scarlet carnation, as well as hands-on crafts for children. Both of these activities are free. Exploring the grounds and all current exhibits, including the butterfly house is subject to the Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve general admission cost. The cost is $8 per person, ages 2 and under are free, and seniors (ages 65+) are $5 per person. Beech Creek Members receive free admission.
7:00 pm - Balloon Lift Off
One of the many joys of Days in the Park can be found in the sky when anywhere from 7 - 10 Hot Air Balloons take flight. A family tradition for some, and for others it can be a new experience. Mother nature doesn't always cooperate, so we do NOT have a rain date. Whether you choose to watch from afar or near, it is definitely an event to watch.
4:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Days in the Park - Silver Park
Musical Entertainment
6pm-9pm Chicago Tribute Band
Scavenger Hunt: Where is Levi?
Each day of our festival, we will post a photo of Levi hiding in a new location around town.
We'll create an air of mystery by sharing a photo of Levi with limited scenery, leaving our community members guessing Levi’s whereabouts.
Once a seeker has successfully tracked down Levi at the designated spot, they'll be greeted with a triumphant "You Found Levi!" sign, complete with a QR code. Scanning this code will not only confirm their victory but enter them into our daily prize drawing and grand prize drawing.
Each day, one lucky winner will score a gift card to a local restaurant or store, supporting our community businesses and spreading the festival spirit far and wide. One grand prize drawing will take place at the end of the festival from the combined entries throughout the week.
