Intersection of North Elm Street and Mineral Springs Street
The Orrville Firefighters Association would like to extend an invitation to you and your organization to participate in the Orrville Firefighters Association’s 2024 Fire in the Sky Celebration.
Orrville’s week long Independence Day celebration will begin on Tuesday, July 2nd with the annual parade.
Parade line-up will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Mineral Springs Street at the North drive of the O.H.S Football Stadium. All parade entries must enter the parade line-up area from the intersection of North Elm Street and Mineral Springs Street. Ella Street will be closed at High Street, and Mineral Springs Street will be closed at Ella. NO traffic will be permitted beyond these road closures. O.F.F.A members will be present in the area to assist you to your location in the line-up.
Parade participants not arriving with their parade entry can be dropped off at the intersection of Mineral Springs Street and Ella Street in the area of the Orrville Elementary School. To drop participants off arrive via Mineral Springs Street from the East! Drop off participants and immediately exit the area via Ella Street to Congress Street. Congress Street will be Closed to South bound traffic at Hostetler Road. There will be no parking in this area for vehicles not participating in the parade. There will be heavy traffic in this area on Parade Night. Children need to be accompanied by an adult!
All parade participants must be in position by 6:45 P.M. as the parade will start promptly at 7:00 P.M.!
Parade Registration Fees:
If you are an Event Sponsor, purchased an Event Ad, or are a Non-Profit Organization (501c3, Veterans Group, Church Group, Civic Group, etc.) there is No Fee.
If you are a commercial or political entry, there is a registration charge of $40.00 per entry. All registration fees are non-refundable - Please make checks payable to Orrville Firefighters Association.
All pre-registered entries will receive confirmation via e-mail acknowledging your application receipt, if an e-mail address is provided.
