This is the fastest ultra course we have – approachable and great for a 1st time 25/50k and/or a Personal Record!
SCHEDULE: The start is 8 am and finish at 4 pm, allowing 8 hours, or 8-1/2 with early start.
7:00 a.m. Gate Opens
7:10-7:55 a.m. Packet Pickup/Check in at Lawwill Shelter
7:30 a.m. Early Start *notes: You need to notify the RD/timer & are not eligible for Overall Awards*
8:00 a.m. 50K & 25K Starts (all together)
3:00 p.m. Must start the final lap, Sweeper/s head out
4:00 p.m. Race ends
4:00-5:00 p.m. Clean up & Load out
COURSE: A 7.77-ISH MILE LOOP IS RUN 4 TIMES FOR 50K, 2 TIMES FOR 25K. It is a mix of trail, grass & pavement with 471 feet of ascent per loop.
AID STATIONS: One aid station is at the Lawwill shelter where you start & finish the loop, & the second is at the Patty Shelter Aid Station where you go 2X per 7.7 mile loop for a Rockin’ Party! These manned aid stations will include: water, enhanced water (no, not beer), chips, pretzels, pickles/pickle juice, PB&J, fruit & non-fruit sweets.
DROP BAGS: You can leave drop bags at the start/finish area, or leave them in your vehicle (or you may drop them yourself at Patty Shelter).
PACERS: Pacers are allowed with a signed waiver.
