Annual Fireworks Display

Every year the Lorain Port and Finance Authority sponsors a magnificent Independence Day Fireworks Display for the residents and visitors of the City of Lorain to enjoy. The display is launched from the Mile-Long Pier, 301 Lakeside Avenue, on Lorain’s East Side and begins whenever the sun completely sets. This is usually around 10 p.m. You can also watch from our livestream Port Lorain camera via Facebook or YouTube.

We provide parking passes for eligible East Side residents living in close proximity to the launch site. We will deliver the parking passes about a month in advance. You are more than welcome to visit our office, 319 Black River Lane, if you have questions or are in need of more passes. Cars must be parked on your property as streets nearest the marina are closed for safety purposes.
