Working Hike at Eagle Mountain Preserve

Help Champlain Area Trails and the Northeast Wilderness Trust with the maintenance of Benny's Trail, a beautiful two mile path to Clear Pond.  We will be mowing, string trimming, and lopping the trail along a much of this trail. Click here to learn more about the trail.

What To Bring: We will work with loppers, hand saws, and string trimmers, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your tools as well.  Please take note that half a mile in, the trail is flooded due to a beaver dam.  To cross this section, it is advised to have a pair of water shoes or waders.  Otherwise, make sure to bring gloves, protective eye gear (if using a string trimmer), water, and some snacks!

Registration: Please register by 6:00 p.m. the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com, but it's also okay to meet us there Friday at noon.
