Working Hike

Join Champlain area trails in a working hike To create a new trail in Whallonsburg on Friday, April 26th at noon.

Help develop a new trail connecting Whallonsburg to the Champlain Area Trails trail network. The trail goes through a forest and will meet up with the Art Farm Trail. This will involve some invasive work along the new trail and cleaning up the new path.

What To Bring: We will work with loppers and hand saws, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your tools as well.  Make sure to come with appropriate footwear for the weather conditions, and bring gloves, water, and some snacks!

Registration: Please register by 6:00 p.m. the day before the event by emailing tony@champlainareatrails.com, but it's also okay to meet us there Friday at noon.
