Walk For Kidney Health 5K

The Walk for Kidney Health is a community event to raise awareness of kidney disease, recognize people affected by kidney disease, honor organ donors and remember those we have lost. Sponsorships, team fundraising and individual donations also support the Kidney Foundation of WNY's outreach, education, patient support and advocacy programs.
Schedule:
7:30am - 5K registration starts
8:00am - 5K race
8:45am - Presentation of 5K medals
9:00am - Walk welcome activities
11:00am - Event concludes
The morning's event will include music, recognition of kidney community heroes, community health resources, games, a one-mile fun walk and a timed 5K.
START/FINISH:
The event will take place at Lakeside Lawn on the Buffalo Outer Harbor. Runners will enjoy a scenic run/walk along the Buffalo waterfront. There will be one water station located along the course and bottled water will be provided to all participants at the finish line. The 5K Run will start at 8am and the 1 Mile Kidney Walk will start at 9:30am. A brand new USATF certified course is being designed due to construction at Wilkeson Point and will be posted here in the coming weeks.
