Unity in the Community : Celebrating Democracy

Dr. Stephen Coleman will hold his sixth Unity in the Community event to Celebrate Democracy in America and the Twin Tiers, at Wisner Park in downtown Elmira. The rally is cosponsored by President Georgia Verdier of the Elmira-Corning Branch of the NAACP. It is free, open to the public, with no tickets required. The event will also honor the brave Americans who perished when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941; plus all those who serve or have served in the military to protect our freedom.

Now that the election is over, let's celebrate democracy in America and the Twin Tiers. Let's celebrate the peaceful transfer of power. Let's celebrate our veterans. Let's celebrate those who wear the uniform. And let's celebrate the brave men and women who have given their lives to protect America and our democracy. Let's unite and celebrate at this special event!
