Celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the legendary TV series The Twilight Zone-and creator Rod Serling's Centennial - with a special Saturday afternoon double-feature screening, pairing Serling's favorite episode (1960’s “A Stop at Willoughby”) with the 1968 cult classic film The Swimmer, starring the equally-legendary Burt Lancaster, and adapted from a short story by the, yes, equally-legendary John Cheever (published in The New Yorker exactly 60 years ago), that has thematic ties with “Willoughby”- or, as the copy on the back of the recent Blu-Ray release of The Swimmer described the film, “a feature-length Twilight Zone episode by way of The New Yorker”!

The films will be screened from Blu-ray transfers on the theater's new 4K projection system in 12.3 surround sound audio.

The screenings are presented by renowned Twilight Zone scholar and pop culture historian Arlen Schumer (author/designer, Visions from The Twilight Zone and The Silver Age of Comic Book Art), who will also be signing hardcover copies of his brand-new book of essays on The Twilight Zone’s greatest episodes, The Five Themes of The Twilight Zone (Bear Manor Media).

Purchase of a ticket to the screenings only is $25; but a $50 ticket also gets you a signed hardcover of Arlen’s new Twilight Zone book (which retails for $44).

Approx Running Time: 3 Hours
Genre: Screening, Storytelling, Visual Media

Please Note: the venue has a 2-beverage minimum per person.
