The Mount Pleasant Public Library
The Mount Pleasant Public Library strives to be a warm and welcoming center of discovery: through books, media and programming we hope to connect people to ideas, and to each other, in order to enrich their lives and the overall life of the community.
The Library is a joint municipal library supported by the Town of Mount Pleasant and Village of Pleasantville. The Library received its charter from NY State in 1965 and serves residents, students and workers in the Town of Mount Pleasant, outside the incorporated villages, and the Village of Pleasantville. The Main Library is located in the Village of Pleasantville, at the intersection of Bedford Road and Romer Avenue. The Branch Library is in the Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation center on Lozza Drive.
