The Jazz Composers’ Showcase features young composers conducting performances of their large ensemble works. Featured composers share the same ensemble at each showcase, which allows them to overcome the financial hurdle of maintaining a large ensemble to perform their compositions. To celebrate 10 years of the concert series, we are going to reunite with six composers who were featured in the past concerts, and will represent their new works.
