Summer Concert - Mark Kaufman and The Horizon Project

Enjoy the concerts at Waterfront Park on the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Begun in 2000, Jazz Forum Arts’ longest running series features an eclectic array of artists and groups.

Mark Kaufman was a full-time musician who changed careers, went to law school, eventually started his own firm but then, in 2023, assembled a group of Grammy-nominated musicians to record his first album as a leader, Standing On The Horizon. It’s a strong jazz record as they’ll prove this evening.

Appreciative audiences gather early for our Early Childhood Educational Jitterbugs events and to picnic and enjoy this magnificent setting and the top-flight groups performing at the water’s edge while the sun sets over the Palisades.
