Summer Concert - Houston Person Quartet

Enjoy the concerts at Waterfront Park on the Hudson River in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Begun in 2000, Jazz Forum Arts’ longest running series features an eclectic array of artists and groups.

Nothing, it seems, stops Houston Person, reigning King of the Boss Tenor, now in his sixth decade of performing. His tone has gotten bigger even as his delivery has mellowed. He’s recorded over 75 albums as a leader. With his robust sound and swinging style, Houston is a master’s master.

Appreciative audiences gather early for our Early Childhood Educational Jitterbugs events and to picnic and enjoy this magnificent setting and the top-flight groups performing at the water’s edge while the sun sets over the Palisades.
