Amina Figarova Sextet and Matsiko World Orphan Choir

From Azerbaijan, New Orleans and New York, Amina Figarova is an internationally-influenced (and recognized) composer, pianist and bandleader of her remarkable sextet. In 2018, she composed a suite for her group and a children's choir and performs it with Liberia's Matsiko World Orphan Choir, 24 at-risk children from West Africa.

For most of the summers since Jazz Forum Arts’ 1998 Tarrytown Arts Festival, we’ve collaborated with the Village of Tarrytown to present Jazz concerts at the magnificent Pierson Park.

The unparalleled views of the new bridge and the Hudson River create a joyful ambience for picnics with family and friends, while experiencing the finest emerging and established Jazz artists and groups.
