Katherine Lerner Lee
Katherine Lerner Lee enjoys a diverse career performing opera, art song, chamber, and contemporary music. In the Fall of 2023 Katherine premiered Jon Deak’s Christmastime concert drama Ingmar and the Bear with the 21st Century Consort in Washington DC and made her European recital debut performing songs of Rachmaninov and Chopin in Arezzo, Italy. While in Italy, she was awarded Third Prize at the Altamura/Caruso International Voice Competition as well as a special jury recognition as the most promising contestant. Katherine has performed as a soloist at Symphony Space, Carnegie Hall and both the Brooklyn and Cleveland Museums of Art. Operatic credits include Susanna in Le nozzle di Figaro, Gold-Spur in The Cunning Little Vixen and Clori in Cavalli’s L’egisto. In 2024, Katherine looks forward to upcoming recitals with Concerts on the Slope in Brooklyn, Beattie Powers on Main in Catskill, Downtown Music at Grace in White Plains and Shandelee Music Festival. She holds a double Bachelors in Voice and French from Oberlin College and Conservatory and a Masters from Bard Conservatory.
