Performing Arts Center - Buffalo State
The arts are the heart of a community. The Performing Arts Center (PAC), with more than 180 events and 50,000 patrons a year, is proud of the contribution it makes to the cultural vitality of SUNY Buffalo State and Western New York.
With state-of-the-art sound and lighting, exceptional acoustics and clear sight-lines, the 856-seat multi-purpose theatre is an intimate venue for concerts, dance, lectures, films and more.
The PAC hosts the Great Performers Series, which features new and established artists from a variety of musical styles and genres, as well as Artsplorations, a series of performances for young audiences.
In addition, Buffalo State's Music Department presents several performances a semester at the PAC, including a series of free Student Ensemble concerts and the Faculty & Friends Concert series. Community groups such as Buffalo Opera Unlimited, Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet, St. Joseph Collegiate Institute, and many others frequently host performances at the PAC.
