The Painted Post Fire Department proudly invites you to our annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony!
Featuring: CPPHS Bands, Area Fire Departments, American Legion Honor Guard
Event Highlights:
- Parade Kickoff: Join us as we load the kids onto our fire trucks at 9:45 AM for the parade around the village. We'll pause at the village monuments on N. Hamilton St. to honor our fallen heroes.
- Patriotic Tributes: Experience the solemnity and honor of Flanders Field and a Military 21-Gun Salute, presented by the Corning American Legion Honor Guard at the Centennial location near the post office on N. Hamilton St.
- Fallen Hero Memorial: Conclude our ceremony with a heartfelt tribute at our fire station, remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community.
- Community Celebration: After the ceremony, please stay and mingle with us! Refreshments will be served, and camaraderie will be shared as we come together to honor our heroes and celebrate their legacy.
All are welcome! Let's unite in remembrance and gratitude as we honor the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to keeping our community safe.
