A series of four 5k races in the months of January and February. The Winter Series has been around in one form or another for about as long as the Orange Runners Club has and arose to fill a need to test our ability to brave the elements and fitness level at the time of year when many runners have put the running shoes up or have traded outside running activity for trips to the gym. Yes - there are other people like you who are willing to get back outdoors and feel the Winter's elements and some competition, in their face!
We invite you to come out and participate in this year's Winter Series and run in the serene beauty that is with us during the winter season.
Event Schedule:
Runners 11:00 am
Walkers 10:45 am.
Awards:
Monetary Awards to top 3 overall Male and Female runners.
First Male/Female AG winners gets race a prize entry into the year's Jingle Jog
Top 3 Walkers get a Jingle Jog prize entry.
Rules:
Must compete in three of four races to be eligible unless a race is cancelled, then two out of three.
If the recipient is a minor the award will be placed with the person's parent or guardian.
