Music by Mary Kathryn Monday

Join us for a musical event by mezzo-soprano Mary Kathryn Monday. Monday has been praised for her vast array of vocal colors and passion for characterization. She has an affinity for French music as well as American theater repertoire from Porter to Sondheim! In 2022, Mary Kathryn sang a solo recital of songs about NYC, selections of Lisa DeSpain’s new operas That Hell-Bound Train and Staggerwing, was featured in a concert devoted to Stephen Sondheim with Village Light Opera Group, and enjoyed several performances with Opera on Tap throughout the year. This will be her third concert at 440 Gallery.
