Manza Family Farm
Manza Family Farm was started in 1979. The farm began as a place to board horses and grow produce for a farm stand owned and operated by Dominick and Mary Manza along with sons Paul, Mike, and Tom. The Farm opened to the public around 1985 for U-Pick pumpkins and hayrides, a tradition which still continues today. Around 1990 a small tree and shrub nursery was started by son Tom Manza, on a quarter acre, which quickly expanded to meet the growing needs of the area.
Today the nursery is on 20 acres which consists of many top quality trees, shrubs, and perennials sold in containers or balled and burlap. In addition, the farm grows 40 acres of trees to help supply the nursery and U-Pick pumpkins are still grown today as part of the farms traditional Fall Festival. For the past 23 years we have had Christmas on the Farm, which features living and cut trees, Santa and his elf, and a Christmas display. The Farm also periodically auctions off excess tree and shrub inventory.
