Boris Lurie (1924-2008), a New Yorker from Riga, concentration camp survivor, and artist. He collages images of piles of corpses with pin-ups and attacks fascism, racism, sexism. He writes poetry that blends horror and lightness, unique among other works that deal with surviving the Holocaust.
