Livonia Area Preservation And Historical Society

About Us

The Livonia Area Preservation & Historical Society, established in 1990, is a volunteer, non-profit organization of citizens interested in preserving the history and artifacts of the Town of Livonia. The Society and Museum, located at 10 Commercial Street, Livonia, New York, strive to provide varied materials to assist interested people with research and the community's social history. The Society seeks to cooperate with other local repositories, individuals and institutions, in order to promote the identification, preservation and use of records important for understanding the Town of Livonia History.

We offer programs throughout the year featuring topics of local interest. We also participate in annual community events such as the Long Pt. Arts & Crafts Show, Autumn in the Village and the Livonia Farmers' Market.

Hours of Operation: Museum is open year-round on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
