Alfred Hitchcock's The Wrong Man
Hosted by professor Foster Hirsch
35mm Screening!
A rare Hitchcock film based on true events, The Wrong Man follows Manny (Academy Award-winner Henry Fonda), a musician and family man whose life is slowly destroyed after he is misidentified as the perpetrator of crimes he did not commit. Featuring Vera Miles as his distraught wife, Rose, driven to madness by the ordeal. This shattering and compelling tale from master-of-suspense Alfred Hitchcock is one of his most harrowing. Presented like a semi-documentary, The Wrong Man is based on the real case of nightclub musician "Manny" Balestrero.
