By diving into New York City’s past and present, this film unveils the turbulent evolution of Street Dance into the cultural behemoth it is today. Through interviews with practitioners, clubheads, and policymakers, learn firsthand of the club era at its height and the destruction that the New York City government set in motion. No Dancing Allowed is a story of ingenuity, culture, erasure, and, most of all, resilience.
