Crazee Color 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run

The Canisteo-Greenwood High School Student Senate is proud to host its first 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run.  This group of students represent the school's leaders who find ways and activities to provide opportunities for all students in the high school.  The funds raised will help provide scholarships for seniors, fund events like dances, pep rallies, homecoming, to buy a school mascot costume, to buy a sports tunnel for athletic events, and for them to do some community outreach.

This event also provides the runner and walkers with extra fun as it is a COLOR RUN!  What does this mean?  Runners and walkers will have the choice of being splashed with nontoxic, food grade, colored chalk.  As they complete the course, there will be designated areas where throwers will add some color to the participants.  If they choose, participants can enter the splash zone and be blasted with color.  If participants do not want to take part in the colorful chalk, they should steer clear of each designated splash zone.
