CATSWomen at Bear Den Mountain

CATSWomen is a volunteer-led group that offers a welcoming environment for women of all ages and abilities to gain confidence in the outdoors through Champlain Area Trails.

Check out this 3.5-mile trail to a beautiful summit in the heart of the Adirondacks. The trail is a moderately difficult hike that gains 1,300 feet of elevation. Hike uphill through the forest to a rocky ledge with an incredible view of the area and Whiteface Mountain.

Meet at the trailhead at 8:45 am. This hike should take about 3-4 hours.

Dress in clothing that is protective and wicking for the summer heat for hiking. Remember to bring snacks and water!

The trailhead is off of the Whiteface Mountain ski area in Wilmington by Bear Den Lodge.
