HUDSON FALLS, NY - The Bunbury Players are thrilled to announce the upcoming production of Alice in Wonderland, the final installment of their 2023-2024 season. Under the visionary leadership of Artistic Director Garrett D. West and Executive Director Michael Nichols-Pate, the Capital Region community theatre is set to captivate audiences with various compelling performances.

In this successful Broadway adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic Victorian novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, a young girl named Alice travels through a mirror into a magical dream world populated by surreal characters and bewildering adventures. It's a journey of self-discovery for Alice as she searches for a way out of this Wonderland and encounters many bizarre creatures, such as the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, and the White Knight.

Rosalyn Annely, last seen as Ruth Hunsdorfer in Bunbury's critically acclaimed production of The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-on-the-Moon Marigolds, plays the titular character. She is supported by a talented ensemble that plays multiple characters within Wonderland. These performers are Augusta Bargeron, Emma Battles-Foley, Zinnia Benjamin, Jason Cromie, Katie Hawksby, Christopher Kowalski, Nyx Kowalski, Sylvia Krebs, Dane Kevin Patrick Martin, Stefanie Lynn Maynard, Lily Mickel, Victoria Nieves, Michelena Nolan, Lauren Risley, Syd Ryan Sadowski, Finn Vanier, Janice Walz, and Garrett D. West.

Bunbury Artistic Director Garrett D. West and Bunbury founding member Jason Cromie co-direct the production. The rest of the production team consists of Wendy Camilli (music director), Rachel Leigh Head (choreographer), Pete Annely (scenic designer), Helen Annely (properties designer), Andrew Whipple (lighting designer), Gina Kowalski (costume designer), Trevor Wilkins (wig and makeup designer), Melissa Hughes (stage manager), and Kayla Cromie (production manager).

The performances will occur at the Strand Theatre, 210 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839, with four performances: Friday, July 12th at 7:00 PM; Saturday, July 13th at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM; and Sunday, July 14th at 2:00 PM. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $20.

Bunbury Players remains committed to enriching the community with diverse and thought-provoking productions, believing in the transformative power of storytelling to foster meaningful connections among audiences. The 2023-2024 season also included productions of Rabbit Hole, A Festival of One-Acts II, and The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds.
