Brian Ales / Matt Darriau and Friends

Brian Ales comes up to Barbès from the woods of central North Carolina to do a little something-something with his brother Matt Darriau. Two distinguished gentlemen that have known each other for over 40 years - in fact the rest of the band have also been collaborating with Brian and Matt in one context or another for many years: Satoshi Takeishi and Matt Kilmer - percussion; Bill Urmson - bass and Katie Down -  percussion flute, glass. 

So, a homecoming of sorts: Matt Darriau on winds, and yes electric baritone ukulele is a thing.
