Cool off at two different film screenings, immerse yourself in mesmerizing art activations that celebrate the French-speaking world, and dance the day away to the tunes of DJ Julien. The New York Premier of Quentin Dupieux's latest films is a comedic tribute to surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. In the film a French journalist (Anaïs Demoustier) repeatedly tries to meet with Dalí for a documentary interview that never happens.

Inside Out Project
The global art activation Faces of the French-Speaking World (Les visages de la Francophonie) will kick-off in the U.S. at our Bastille Day celebration. Attendees can have their photo taken in the “Inside Out” photo truck and paste their self-portrait posters on Madison Ave, participating in a city-block long mural that will be on display all day.

Blank Placard Dance, Replay
This Bastille Day, we are presenting a timely reenactment of the 1967 choreographed dance, Blank Placard Dance, Replay by Anna Halprin. French choreographer Anne Collod remounts this work for 30 dancers accompanied by a marching band to begin a walk uptown where Bastille Day audiences are invited to participate.
