30th Annual Capital Apple and Wine Festival
Join us for the weekend at our new location, September 28 and 29 filled with NY State Apples, Wine, Spirits, Ciders, Mead, Craft, Specialty Food, Food Trucks, Kids Activities, Music, walkabout balloon, tethered balloon ride , and Sunday Car Show.
The cornerstone of the Festival is tasting and sampling from among 25 wineries, distilleries, cideries, and mead makers each with a variety of bottles to taste. Countless wine varietals including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Reisling, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Cham Boursin, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Marquette, Baco Noir, and more. In addition, there are semi sweet sweet wines, wines made form other fruits like peach, blueberries, apples, strawberries and rhubarb and cranberries. More than wine, the festival presents several world class distilleries offering Gin, Rye, Whiskey, Vodka, Rum, Bourbon, Moonshine, Cream Liqueurs, Aperitifs, and canned Cocktails. Also, available are Cider and Mead made with NY Apples and Honey.
Don’t miss the Apple Tent selling a variety of apples, cider, cider donuts, and all things harvest season. We’ll have an array of food concessions selling lobster rolls, tacos, sausage sandwiches, fried pickles, chicken wraps, donuts, and much more.
Craft and Specialty Food Exhibitors will be selling their hand crafted Jewelry, Candles, Handbags, Bodycare,Clothing, Textiles, Dog Treats, Oils and Vinegars, Jams, Mustard, Pickles, Scones, Granola, Jerky, Dips, Maple Syrup, Honey, and More.
On Saturday the Pit Brothers Band will be playing and Sunday, Johnny and the Cliff Notes. There will be a walkabout balloon from 1 to 3pm, tethered balloon rides from 3-6pm, and after 6 a balloon launch. Hot air balloons are weather dependent.
