Silver State Classic Challenge
SSCC holds Guinness World Record for World's Fastest Road Race
The fastest road race in the world is the Silver State Classic Challenge held on Nevada's Route 318, with a record average race speed of 353.48 km/h (219.6430 mph), achieved by Robert Allyn (driver, USA) and David Bauer (navigator, USA) during the 2017 Nevada Open Road Challenge on 21 May 2017.

8:00 A.M - 9:30 A.M: Inspection - Shootout Participants ONLY - Veterans Memorial Park, Aultman St. (across from WP Middle School) - Tire Inspection for All Cars
9:30 A.M - 12:00 P.M: Inspection - Open to ALL Participants - Veterans Memorial Park, Aultman St. (across from WP Middle School) - Tire Inspection For All Cars
11:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M: Shootout - Hwy #490 (North of Ely off Hwy 93) - Mandatory Drivers Meeting - Gather at Fireside Inn Parking Lot at 10:00 A.M.
1:00 P.M - 4:30 P.M: BBQ Hosted by the Stardust Ranch - outside in the patio area, everyone’s welcome - 190 High Street
4:30 P.M: Gather for Parade of Cars - Meet at High School Parking Lot on South side of Highway 6, Bobcat Drive.
5:30 P.M: PARADE OF CARS through the City of Ely
6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M: Welcome Reception - Bristlecone Convention Center - Come and meet others that live for speed.
9:00 P.M – To ?: Hookers Choice Award- Started and continued by Kelley Gibbs - Hosted by the Stardust Ranch, 190 High Street
