Journal Jog 8K
It has been a Reno tradition for years. This is a family friendly event and a great challenge to all levels of runners and walkers. Yes, the Stroller Run event is back so a parent can run, yes, run with their stroller and try to place in the top 3. All the rest will enter in the Run/Walk/Stroller Walk event.
The course is a flat, fast 8K through scenic and historic old southwest Reno with the start/finish lines at Reno High School.
Event Schedule:
8K Stroller Run 7:25 am
This race is for individuals running with a stroller (with a child in it). The same person must run with the stroller for the entire duration of the race.
8K Run/Walk/Stroller Walk 7:30 am

The overall top 3 finishers will receive awards.
8K Run/Walk/Stroller Walk
The overall top 3 female, male and non-binary finishers will receive awards.
The top 3 female, male and non-binary finishers in each age group will receive an award. The age groups will be 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Time Limits
Participants need to be finished by 9:05 am. If you are not done by that time, you’ll need to move to the sidewalk to complete the event. Streets will no longer be closed.
