Smokey Bear Stampede
A Lincoln County tradition since 1956 and the holiday destination of generations from New Mexico, West Texas, Arizona, Colorado and other states. The Smokey Bear Stampede is home to four days of open rodeo competition and excitement, as well as, a two-day ranch rodeo, a youth ranch rodeo and a 4th of July dutch oven cook-off and kid's rough stock rodeo.
