New Mexico Classical Guitar Festival

The 2024 New Mexico Guitar Festival features more workshops and guitar orchestra this year! Saturday's MainStage is headlined by Ensemble Corcovado, a Brazilian music project featuring the Rio Grande Guitar Quartet & friends. Friday's New Mexico Showcase concert includes the Duke City Trio and our own Guitar Youth Orchestra. The Festival Orchestra will once again be led by the dynamic Chuck Hulihan, culminating in a concert on Sunday. And, of course, we offer masterclasses, workshops, and lots of camaraderie!

10:00a - Morning warm-ups & Guitar Orchestra rehearsal

12:00p - Lunch (catered); Luthier & Vendor tables

1:00-3:00p - Guitar Orchestra rehearsal or sectionals

3:00-4:00p - Workshop #1

4:00-5:00p - Workshop #2

5:30p - Pizza & ice cream social
