Our book will be Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story by Kevin Noble Maillard, illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal, and our storyteller will be Chauntay American Horse.

Told in lively and powerful verse by debut author Kevin Noble Maillard, Fry Bread is an evocative depiction of a modern Native American family, vibrantly illustrated by Pura Belpre Award winner and Caldecott Honoree Juana Martinez-Neal.

Immediately following the reading of the story, children will be able to make their own version of play frybread, and leave with a sample of real frybread from our very own Indian Pueblo Kitchen

Free for children and adult family member.

Location: Children's Area of Museum.
