Volunteer Opportunity for students, military, or others needing community volunteer credits.
Flag placement on Veterans' Graves in Local Cemeteries
In conjunction with Mount Holly VFW Post 2692 and American Legion Mount Holly Post 11
We will assemble on Saturday May 18th, 2024 9:00 AM at Mount Holly VFW Post 2692, 199 South Ave, Mount Holly, NJ 08060, to get our assigned cemeteries for flag placement.
We will place about 1500 flags on the graves of interned Veterans in Mount Holly, Westampton, and Hainesport local cemeteries.
Men and Women who served in the U.S. military are buried at many local Cemeteries. Please help us honor them with a flag at their grave for Memorial Day.
PLEASE READ
You will be walking over uneven cemetery roads and grounds. Please wear comfortable footwear and watch your step!
There is no alternate rain date for inclement weather. Please dress accordingly.
