Hanover Township Recreation is pleased to announce that its annual Patriotic Celebration of Fireworks is scheduled on Monday, July 1, 2024, with a rain date of Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Veteran’s Field on North Jefferson Road across from the Hanover Township Municipal Complex in Whippany. The fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:15 PM. Please bring a chair/blanket for seating.
Activities will begin at 6:00 PM with fireworks at approximately 9:15 PM
Activities include Bounce House, Face Painting, Balloon Sculpture by Kellei Cosby and more.

Live Music by The Heart of Gold
Time: 7:30 PM -9 PM
"Heart of Gold Band" is a musical supergroup featuring several of the finest musicians from the Morris County area led by Joe Bilotti, a guitarist and music professor at the County College of Morris. Additional members include local music legends Joan Bujacich, Joe Howell, John Hummel and Frank Elmo. The "Heart of Gold Band" specializes in performing repertoire of the classic rock genre including music by such artists as Steely Dan, Neil Young, David Bowie, Yes, Peter Frampton, Led Zeppelin and others. Experiencing the "Heart of Gold Band" in action, one can only marvel at the skills of these fine musicians and the joy they share in recreating some of the most popular music of all time.
