Fall Festivities

Get in the Revolutionary spirit as the nation prepares to celebrate its 250^th anniversary on July 4, 2026. Join Morris County Historical Society, the Washington Neighborhood Association of New Jersey, local leaders, and generous donors at a ribbon-cutting to mark the restoration of the replica Revolutionary War cannon across from Acorn Hall. Located at the intersection of Morris and Lafayette avenues, the cannon serves as a symbol of Morristown’s unique contribution to our nation’s fight for independence and the town’s rich and diverse history. In addition, the 29^th annual Morristown Festival on The Green will be held noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
