Santa and his elves have decked out the Physick Estate with thousands of lights and holiday trimmings. Enjoy a free performance of holiday classics by the John Walter Cape Community Band as we join Santa in lighting the tree! Mallory's Eats will be serving hot chocolate and baked goods for purchase.
5PM-8:00PM: PHYSICK ESTATE OPEN HOUSE
The Emlen Physick Estate House Museum is decked out for the holidays and the first floor will be open for free, self-guided tours.
5:30PM: THE JOHN WALTER CAPE COMMUNITY BAND
Celebrating more than 25 years performing in South Jersey, the John Walter Cape Community Band is honored to be recognized as the community concert band of Cape May County, NJ. Members include current and former educators, business professionals, retirees and students from local elementary and high schools.
7PM: SANTA LIGHTS THE TREE!
Watch as Santa and his helpers light the grand tree at the Emlen Physick Estate, officially kicking-off the holiday season in Cape May. Afterwards, enjoy a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas on the outdoor stage at the Emlen Physick Estate.
10AM-8PM: "AN OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTMAS" EXHIBIT
Enter a holiday wonderland and feel like a child again as you see our extensive Dept. 56 Dickens Village collection beneath the boughs of our giant Christmas tree. All this plus old family photos, trains and more. There's even a place to drop off your letters to Santa! Located at the Carroll Gallery in the Carriage House.
Don't Forget Donations!
Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for the Cape May Community Food Closet. Donations can be dropped in front of the outdoor stage. Representatives from Toys for Tots will be attending the event and collecting gifts for their charity. Gifts can be dropped off in the Carriage House Museum Shop.
