4th of July Celebration at Wenonah Park
68th Independence Day Celebration Thursday, July 4th
This is the twenty-seventh year of this newsletter being distributed for the purpose of letting Wenonah residents know of upcoming
Independence Day activities.
Schedule Of Events
- 8:00 AM - The Wenonah Dash At Wenonah Cemetery
- 8:20 AM - "Fire Sirens" 4 one minute blasts of the siren will notify the town that the parade is being assembled at Mantua and Marion Ave.
- 8:30 AM - Parade begins
Bands lead the way West on Mantua Ave to Lincoln Ave returning to Wenonah Park
- 10:00 AM - Patriotic Ceremony following the parade At Wenonah Park
- 11:00 AM - Community get together in the park At Veterans Corner sponsored by the Wenonah Fire Company and Post #192
- 11:00 AM - Athletic contests in the Park including Peanut Scrambles, Sack Races and Dash Races
- 11:30 AM - 15th Annual Pie
