Paintbox with Wizardess and Eastern Sleds at the Press Room
Paintbox:
What started as an eclectic and seemingly unrelated group of songs – all of which were inspired by the names of paint colors -gradually revealed itself to be a concept album about art, creation, aging, mortality, and what we leave behind during our short time on earth. Told through the eyes of its main character Sweet Annie Pepperberry, Paintbox reminds us that it is never too late to share our art with the world despite the distractions and detours of life. Written by singer/songwriter/guitarist Jon McCormack.
An all-star band of the same name performs the album, featuring Jon McCormack (Museum of Science, Fly Spinach Fly, Shango), Stu Dias (Soggy Po Boys, Shango, Gnarlemagne), Rick Habib (Dreadnaught, Wizardess, Order of Thieves), Joe Harding (Dean Ford & The Beautiful Ones), and Duncan Watt (Thanks To Gravity, Dreadnaught).
Wizardess:
Wizardess is a new musical creation from the minds of Jon McCormack (Fly Spinach Fly, Museum of Science) and Stu Dias (Soggy Po’ Boys).
Eastern Sleds:
Eastern Sleds is a New Hampshire based indie folk rock band with strong mountain music influences in harmony and progression.
