New Year’s Eve at the Press Room features “A Dance & Costume Party With Members of Percy Hill and The Original Vitamin C, Sarah Blacker & New England Groove Association, and Qwill.” Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m. Dance the night away, and then toast the New Year at midnight.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Earth Eagle Brewings will celebrate Green Hour. Don’t mistake the “hour” part for a one-hour event, as they clearly plan to ring in the New Year. This will be an absinthe-themed New Year’s Eve party, where absinthe will be featured in several cocktails. Not even sure what it is? It’s an emerald colored very high proof spirit made from herbs, including wormwood. Period music will play throughout the evening and green lights will add ambience. A champagne toast will bring in the New Year.
The Stone Church, Newmarket, NH
A Grateful Dead Tribute will rock the Stone Church on New Year’s Eve. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 ahead of time and $20 at the door. It’s recommended that you buy tickets early, as their NYE shows are known to sell out.
