Celebrate Independence Fourth Of July

Join the Omni Mount Washington Resort for a five-day celebration filled with spirted fun for all! Wave your American flag as you enjoy delicious food prepared by our chefs, participate in our daily activities, and simply enjoy time with family and friends. The excitement never stops, with our annual pie eating contest, an epic water balloon fight, and of course our fantastic firework display! This will be a weekend of memories that you will not forget!

Schedule:

8am - Guided Nature Walk
There is no better place to experience nature at its finest than the White Mountain National Forest that surrounds the Omni Mount Washington Resort. From flowers to trees to animals and everything in between, explore what makes up our vibrant eco - system at the base of Mount Washington and along the Ammonoosuc River. Walks are for all ability levels and take place on the Bridle Path. Proper footwear is required.
Meet at the Activities Concierge Desk

9am - Star Spangled Blast and Dash - Family 5K
This is a 5K course that you can walk or run as your favorite fans cheer you on. Bring your spirit and show your pride with an outrageous red, white, and blue outfit!

10am - Guided Historic Hotel Tour
Join us for a guided walking tour around the historic Mount Washington Hotel. From its construction in 1902 by Joseph Stickney, builder and industrialist, to today’s role as one of the last remaining grand hotels, learn about this National Historic Landmark each morning starting at 10am.

11am - Summer of Kids
Enjoy two hours of poolside fun this summer! Each day the Activities & Events Department will have poolside crafts and activities for our guests to enjoy as a family. The first hour will be summer themed crafting and the second hour will be either a game or activity. This is not a drop off activity. All children require adult supervision. Some blackout dates may apply. Please refer to The Bugle.

12pm - Lawn & Observatory Bar Games
Are you looking for activities to add enjoyment to your family time? Outdoor games are an often overlook source of entertainment for friends and family alike. There is more to lawn than mere leisure! Outdoor games can also help children develop skills such as timing, hand - eye coordination, and good sportsmanship. These games are self - directed. Games will be available for check out at the Pool Shack by an Activities Attendant to play at your leisure.

12pm - Presidential Photo Scavenger Hunt
We are sending your family on a Presidential Photo Scavenger Hunt! A little history, a little challenging, and a lot of fun!

1pm - 3pm - Firecracker Family Carnival​
Join us for some fun and games right in the midst of all the celebrating this Fourth of July weekend. There will be something for everyone at our Firecracker Family Carnival so bring a friend and a sense of adventure and get ready for a good time!

3 pm - Afternoon Family Social – All American Soda Floats
Enjoy complimentary activities and treats each afternoon at the Omni Mount Washington Resort’s outdoor pool. This activity is on a first come, first served basis. No reservations are required. This is not a drop off activity. All children require adult supervision. Some blackout dates may apply. Please refer to The Bugle.

3pm - 7pm - Stars & Stripes BBQ
Join us for our annual country - style BBQ which will be sure to have you seeing stars (and stripes)! That's right; we will have all the classic staples from good old - fashioned corn on the cob to the best burgers this side of the Ammonoosuc, so bring your appetite as this a la carte cookout will have the fixings! Fees apply; $60 per adult | $20 per child | Children 4 and under complimentary. Please note fees do not include tax or service charge.

4pm - 7pm - Bretton Woods Community Dinner
A family - friendly event for all community members, featuring our summer Slopeside Menu with daily specials. Come on out with your family and friends to play lawn games, bar games, and of course eat great food! See you at Bretton Woods! Fees apply.

5:30pm - 9pm - Omni Kids Club
Omni Kids Club gives guests ages 5 - 12 a way to create lifelong memories with our fun Activities Department through crafts and adventures. Omni Kids Club is only available for Omni Mount Washington Resort’s guests and Bretton Woods Club members. The Summer 2024 Kids Club Program will be for evening sessions only. There will be three sessions throughout the week (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) from 5:30pm to 9pm. Each evening will include dinner, outdoor and indoor activities, field games, and crafts! Reservations required; fees apply.
