Schedule of Events

All Day: Food Vendors located on the North side of Bressler Park

All Day: Arts, Crafts, and More Vendors scattered around the park

All Day: Clucktible souvenirs and T-shirts sold in the Clucktible Shelter

All Day: Petting Zoo featuring local farm animals from Dusty Road Petting Zoo
Cost: Free

7:00 am: 5K Chicken Run at Providence Medical Center. Register online at: http://getmeregistered.com/WayneChickenRun.
Proceeds will go toward Rock Steady Boxing Wayne Program for Parkinson's Awareness

8 am-1 pm: Free Young Eagles Plane Rides: At the Wayne Municipal Airport (weather permitting), ages 8-17 requires parental consent. Sponsored by the EAA Chapter 291 from Martin Field, South Sioux City, NE

7:30 am-9:00 am: Kiwanis Omelet Feed, downtown, suggested donation

8:00 am-11 am: Wayne Eagles Club - Bloody Mary bar downtown

9:00 am: Chicken Crowing Contest - Rent a Chicken or Bring your own. Who will crow the most?

9:00 am-3 pm: Piecemakers Quilt Show at Masonic Lodge, 10th & Lincoln. Chicken Quilt Raffle Drawing at 3 pm

9:30 am: Chicken Show Parade: Clucking from 1st & Main to 10th Street, then past Bressler Park. Prizes awarded.

11 am-3 pm: Wayne County Museum open. Self guided tours. 702 Pearl Street

12:00 pm: Registration opens for National Cluck-Off and Hard Boiled Egg Eating Contest at Registration Table near the stage. Must be pre-registered to partricipate in these events.

12:00 pm: Free Entertainment

12:00 pm: Planetarium Show- Astronaut

1:00 pm: Wayne Chicken Show Cornhole Tournament at Wayne County Fairgrounds Expo Building - 1:00 pm

Chicken Flying Contest - Rent a chicken or bring your own to see who can fly furthest across the barnyard.
Best Chicken Legs-Let's see you strut those bird legs! Boys and Girls 13 and Under, Hens and Roosters 14 and Over-Sponsored by Raising Canes

1:30 pm:
Wayne Chicken Show National Cluck-Off: Must be heard across the barnyard, act and sound like a chicken and last 15 seconds. Must Register in advance beginning at noon. 13 and Under, 14 and Over. Total prize money is $400
Pizza Hut Hard Boiled Egg Eating Contest: Throw down those eggs as fast as you can. Must Register in advance beginning at noon. Must be 18 or over. Total prize money is $400 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place.
Rubber Chicken Chuck: The fun moves to the street to see how far you can chuck the rubber chicken across the barnyard. 1st Place Prizes sponsored by Raising Canes.
Egg Toss: Grab a partner to see who can go the furthest distance without cracking up

Last Contest of the Day Egg Drop: Catch the raw egg dropped from the sky

2:00 pm: Planetarium Show - Oasis in Space

3:00 pm: Planetarium Show - My House Has Stars

4:00 pm: Planetarium Show - STARS

6:00 pm: All Class Reunion Social Hour for Wayne High Alumni at City Auditorium.
