Sidner Ice Arena
The Sidner Ice Arena was constructed in 2003 and 2004, opening in April of 2004. Construction costs for the arena were funded by a donation from the Arena's namesake, the Sidner family to honor their daughter Anne as well as additional monies raised by the Fremont Community. The arena is part of the Fremont Family YMCA, the second largest YMCA in the nation.
A separate non-profit group, the Fremont Ice Association, is very active in the continued support of the arena. The Fremont Ice Association is the governing body for the Fremont Flyers USA Hockey Organization.
Sidner Ice Arena is not affiliated with AmericanTowns Media
