Rock Creek Lake State Recreation Area
Rock Creek Lake State Recreation Area is a 50-acre lake on Rock Creek with 54 acres of land. This area offers camping, hiking, boating, fishing and picnicking, as well as primitive camping.
Attractions
Fishing
The lake at Rock Creek Lake State Recreation Area offers channel catfish, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, redear sunfish and yellow perch. Rainbow trout are stocked seasonally.
Boating
All boats are allowed at Rock Creek Lake State Recreation Area but it is a no wake lake. The area offers one ramp and one dock.
Picnicking
Rock Creek Lake State Recreation Area offers picnicking facilities for both day use as well as for campers. The area has 21 picnic tables and 16 grills. Rock Creek Hatchery is 2 miles north of the State Recreation Area.
Camping
Primitive camping
Only primitive camping is offered at Rock Creek Lake SRA. The area offers 43 non-pad sides without electricity, as well as water and vault toilets.
